Menu Plan Monday: Difficult weeks
Last week I barely planned anything and suddenly both kids changed plans and were home and one brought a friend! It figures! Anyway, here are "the keepers" from the emergency recipes I made on those nights!
Spiced pork chops! Easy and wonderful!
One skillet spaghetti --I added more seasoning and they loved it.
Black forest pie!!! YUM!!!
Slow-cooker mango chicken (you can freeze it all and dump it in the crock pot on the day you want it!) I did go ahead and brown the chicken and onion and the real garlic I used. Very good!
So what to do for THIS week? I'm gone Wednesday night so Grandma is handling dinner. Probably tacos--she's a pushover.
Tonight:
Italian Hamburgers
Pasta with garlic and olive oil
Pepper Parmesan Green Beans
Garlic Bread
Tuesday:
Lime Pepper Chicken (postponed)
Baked potatoes
Mixed veggies
Wednesday:
Dinner at Grandma's
Thursday:
I'll be home very late so I'll be honest & say Subway!
Friday:
P and I will be on a college visit & B will stay with friends

Oooh ... that Black Forest Pie looks divine! Definitely trying that out. Your 'good food' looks tasty as well :) I feel your pain with the "busy weeks." May is full of them! Enjoy yours, and I hope the college visit is a hit!
I love this food
