Swiss Steak in Crock Pot
Tenderize round steak with meat mallet if desired. If desired toss with flour s/p then brown slightly (I use olive oil if I even do this). Arrange in crock pot and sprinkle well with pepper and Seasoned Salt (I like to use those crock-pot liners for easy clean-up). Top with chopped onion, chopped green pepper, chopped carrots and one can of drained mushrooms or fresh mushrooms. Add a 16 oz can of tomato sauce and more pepper. Cook all day on low.
Crock Pot Beef Stew
1-2 lbs stew beef
2 onions chopped
2 stalks celery chopped
Several carrots peeled and chopped or those little carrots
3 T Minute Tapicoa (in the pudding isle)
1 T sea salt
1t pepper
1T sugar
32 oz tomato sauce
Mix well and put in Crock Pot on low for 6 hours or so. In oven this is "5 Hour Stew" cooks on a low heat. Serve with crusty warm bread. My kids REQUEST this meal!

Thanks for visiting 2 Make Ends Meet today! The Corn/Ham Chowder sounds yummy! I have lots of leftover ham in my freezer...I might have to make some of that soon!
