Frugal Food Series: TUNA ROLLS!!

I posted this recipe in my last Menu Plan Monday, but didn't have a photo. So here's what they look like! The recipe is below.

TUNA ROLLS:

1 recipe of biscuit dough using 2 cups of flour (bisquik is fine)
1-3 cans of tuna well drained (or salmon or leftover meat of any kind) (use what you have)
Some chopped veggies like onions, green peppers, celery, grated carrot etc (use what you have)

Roll or pat dough into a rectangle on waxed paper. Spread the "filling" evenly over the dough--leave about 1/2 " empty at the far edge. Roll up jelly role style. Slice and bake on a cookie sheet till dough is baked thru and everything is hot. Serve with Salsa or Ranch dressing or whatever!

Obviously just about any leftover meat is good, but be sure to DRAIN sloppy joe filling or taco meat or you'll have mush.

Head over to FRUGAL UPSTATE to try more frugal tuna recipes!

These look great, and I love that you can make them using all sorts of different leftovers! Thanks for sharing them. (and taking the time to take pictures)
