Taco's with flavor!!

I make tacos that are spicy and great! I know this because everyone who's eaten them wants the recipe--and then actually USES it!

For every One Pound of lean ground beef use:
2 T taco seasoning mix [I use sea salt and only 1/2 the amount]
1 can original Rotel tomato/chilis
1/2 cup water
Juice of one lime
1/2--1 bunch of cilantro, chopped [up to you how much]

Tacos in our house are then topped with: tomatos [only if it's garden season--we hate grocery store tomatos] sharp cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, sliced black olives, sour cream and homemade guacamole [if avocaodos are available] and chopped romaine lettuce or chopped spinach [we hate iceberg lettuce!]

For the 3 of us I usually have to make 2lbs of meat!!! This is one of the mixtures I also use for nachos. I keep Taco Rice in the freezer (made with brown rice and Rotel)--but we like it best for burritos which we make with Mexican cheese, refried beans [pintos if homemade or refried black beans if canned].

Tacos, burritos and nachos are all frequently requested at our house--especially when friends spend the night!
